Our natural environment provides products and services for our communities and businesses. Other countries have higher expectations of exporters to increase their environmental performance. We need to ensure our resources are managed correctly to provide for our future.

A free business-to-business waste brokering service co-ordinated by Environment Waikato. We help your business find markets for your industrial waste and surplus materials, for free. Check out www.nothrow.co.nz.
Waikato Environmental Business Network (W.E.B.N.)
Environment Waikato supports the Environmental Business Network in the Waikato region. The network stimulates ideas and discussion between like-minded businesses to improve environmental performance and become more sustainable and profitable.
The W.E.B.N. provide the following services:
- low cost environmental audits
- seminars
- a clipping service
- publishing of the Environmental Business Network newsletter
- management of the Waikato Business and the Environment Awards.
Waikato Business and the Environment Awards
Environment Waikato is a major contributor to the Waikato Business and the Environment Awards. The purpose of the awards is to recognise businesses working with or for the community to achieve lasting environmental improvement. Entries are welcomed from small owner-operators through to large corporate organisations.
